More than 250 Canadian citizens and residents have signed a petition calling for Elon Musk to be stripped of his Canadian citizenship. Musk's ties to US President Donald Trump, who plans to impose a 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian imports next month and has spoken of Canada as a "terrorist" country, have been strained.

It’s easy to just get angry and flippant over him saying this, but this is explicitly fascist rhetoric and should be taken seriously, even though he will play it as a joke if questioned, just like the Sieg Heil salutes.
