    You understand Sway is a passion project, distributed with source for free, and Windows is a comercial product licensed to you by a multinational corperation, right?

      Yes, but I was talking about Linux in general. I’m pretty sure Gnome at least has commercial backing.

      And Linux advocate never say “don’t use Linux; it isn’t a commercial product so it isn’t as good as Windows” do they? They say “you’re an idiot for using Windows; Linux is better”.

        Yes, Gnome and KDE have some level of commercial backing.

        They still operate on a budget of hundreds of thousands.

        Microsoft operates on a budget of tens of billions.

        Additionally, don’t Gnome and KDE already have this feature?

        E: yes. Gnome at the very least has had this for a long time. I’m struggling to find info on Plasma, as when I search for it I mainly just find endless bug reports (half of it Nvidia-related) clouding the results.
