There’s a video of the incident in an article someone posted in the comments, they were asked to either remove the food, or leave and get a refund, they declined to do either. Their conduct towards the employees was also way out of line.
Honestly, both parties are pretty awful in this situation.
Oh, I didn’t see that. Yep, sounds like both out of line. However, one side is acting entitled. The other is calling the police in families eating sweets.
By the time the police were called, they were refusing to leave, acting beliggerent towards staff, and generally ruining the experience for everyone around them.
The video that they posted themselves makes them look pretty awful.
