I agree this is of questionable veracity, but could you imagine if for example fb users had trouble following Trump? There would be a whole news cycle culminating in a congressional hearing. When people talk about the asymmetrical standards that conservatives are held to vs liberals in the media this is a prime example.

He posted a picture on his stream of the error message “There’s a problem here” over the Biden/Harris campaign page, so at very least he’s trolling instead of taking his job seriously. Twitter is his private platform so whatever, but it’s another reminder that Musk will not be impartial and is actually pouring millions into the Trump campaign, so if you’re still there now would be a good time to leave.

Yo it was a good time to leave back when he bought it. It was a good time again when he dumped moderation. It was a good time again when he changed the name to X. Really its always been a good time to leave. Anyone who hasn’t left by now has already ignored so many signs not even Ace of Base can help them.

You nailed it. I left Twitter the day he took over, haven’t looked back once. Anyone still using it is perfectly fine with the dumpster fire and can burn in it.

If you ever wonder why the people you know seem to be better friends with each other than with you, or why they look away while talking with you, or why they always seems to excuse themselves after interacting with you for only a very short time, this post is why.

Because, out of all the platforms available (Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, Lemmy, Mastodon, etc.), Twitter is the place where the news will spread the fastest.

Let’s be real, there’s nothing he personally could do to fix this issue. He just plain doesn’t have the skills.

This is what happens when trying to give equal platforming to buttcracks on top of shoulders. They shit all over everything and dont understand why the mic was taken from them. They dont understand why we can post about single payer healthcare and they can’t say immigrants deserve to die. They think all ideals are equal on the battlegrounds of legislature.

Correction: some of them truly know why. However, they are trying to see what they can get away with, like a toddler testing their boundaries (“but why can’t I have dessert instead of dinner!?”). It is our fault if we fall prey to their BS.

The only thing required for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.

Those that are dumb far outweigh the manipulators. Get the dumb ones educated and the manipulators will lose their grasp. Or so I’d like to believe…

This is what the original founders of the United States of America believed, but that did not last long.

Separately, ignorance is different than obstinacy - the former is easily curable but I have never heard of anything ever that can possibly cure the latter.

Anyway, you could have the most amazing endgame chess move ever planned out, but if you can’t get to it then it’s useless. The Republicans are winning so much lately bc they are playing the game as it is, not as they wish it could be in some fantasy scenario. If we want to beat them then it will take equal effort than they have put in for decades while liberals seem to have simply gone to sleep.
