Cashew juice is very tasty and it’s quite popular here in brazil. It also has medicinal properties for when you have diarrhea.

Is there a viable way to block only unnecessary js, while loading the minimum necessary to properly render the sites?
Digital Video Download
Then maybe just upload them all in a compressed file to archive.org and just post the link?
Don’t let them die. Make a lemmy community for demotivational memes and post them! I, for one, would be curious to browse them and probably spend more time than previously expected while doing that.
Thanks for your kind message. Fear of embarrassment is really something that holds us back
I don’t use self checkout because I’m afraid of messing up something and getting judged by people :(
fading_person@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If You Have Choice then Which part would you choose to be born in?9·12 days agoPeople around here seem so scared of south america. It’s mostly a nice place to live.
I guess the main difference in all those activities is when doing something for yourself, as a hobby or relaxing activity, or when doing something as an obligation, or even worse, doing something for others. Even something like drawing can become terrible if you have to stress yourself, follow someone’s orders instead of your own style, and have to do it fast to meet some deadline.

fading_person@lemmy.zipto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•The 2025 version of "Please consider this environment before printing this email" should be "Please consider this environment before using A.I. to respond to this email"3·13 days agoPeople keep telling us that ai energy use is very low, but at the same time, companies keep building more and more giant power hungry datacenters. Something simply doesn’t add up.
Sure, a small local model can generate text at low power usage, but how useful will that text be, and how many people will actually use it? What I see is people constantly moving to the newest, greatest model, and using it for more and more things, processing more and more tokens. Always more and more.

W isn’t even an energy unit, but a power unit.
I just get late, don’t care anymore

By the way, is it really around 6% for english-speaking users? That’s huge!

I don’t get why people are so stubborn to move away from corporate products.
We see those jokes around, but I have seen a guy in real life that keeps SEVERAL tabs open and uses it as some sort of storage. He does that and then goes into every tech conversation to say that 16gb is “absolutely trash” nowadays, and that we need like at least 64gb. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
He also does everything online while logged in on google and on every online service possible. Looking at his browser giver me some unexplainable agony.
