The right snowflakes are striking everywhere.
I think everyone should avoid visiting the US.
One would hope so but the disinfo is strong in their faces and they lack the critical thinking skills to discern the difference. Our only chance is the rest of us out numbering them.
I think its more likely and less hassle for us to just strengthen our ties with Japan, South Korea and China to be honest. Although I would very much like to see this eventuating in maybe a CANZUK trade increase and defence agreements.
Joining the EU to adapt the Euro I fear would have huge implications against our already existing trade partners and I don’t it would be a gain for the better.
Good thought though.
I always liked CANZUK, having t-ahirts printed with “US CANZUK our balls.”
I want to say it’s mainly because of the belief part I said because science is a methodology so either the vaccine works or not and no belief is required. But in truth because not all comments/downvotes did not elaborate on their reasoning I am not 100% sure. I just deleted the comment anyway and reported the more hateful ones anyway. Cheers for your response though.
All good I deleted the comment.
I hope our mandatory voting means we are less likely to vote Dutton in. Hopefully whats happening in the US is enough of a deterrent for those of us actually paying attention and not wanting that BS to rip through our safety nets. Sure if someone wants to audit the government agency with forensic accountants by all means, but we don’t need the same BS that Elon is pulling and we certainly don’t need to be repeating any of the backwards US policies they are enacting.
You are correct, science is a methodology and not a belief system.

I for one feel like we need to shift away from the US. Cut our losses on the AUKUS and position more closely with Canada, UK and New Zealand. Most of our trade is Japan, South Korea and Chine so makes sense if we even move closer to them as well. I would not be fussed either way as long as it was away from the US.
Do it, hopefully will make us look at markets elsewhere. GST helps to add additional funding for our states and territories in the form of grants which GST helps to provide funding for. The only reason those companies will want it gone is so they can claw that money for themselves, so fuck them.
I was going that seems well short a number from Russia, I then realised they did mention “documented” warcrimes. There would be so many more that are undocumented.
Only discovered this legend recently and subscribed immediately. Doing some good work to combat the BS that spews out of other media.
Tell them to fuck off, the funding we will source elsewhere. Will be painful but I would prefer short term pain then Australia being bullied into unwanted ideologies.
I am quite happy with that budget. As a low income worker with a student debt there is alot more in the budget then I expected. The tax reduction, elect rebate, student debt reduction.
That plus Labor’s future made in australia initiative has at least earned my initial interest for getting my vote when election comes close.
To be honest all the smart ones did see this coming from this idiotic administration. This is Trumps administration team we are talking about. Going back as far as the press conference at the Four Seasons Lawnscaping their ineptitude to even be thought as having any sort of credible capability was known.
They banned Rim World for a little bit as well, although not banned for now as there was some pushback. Be interesting to see if this games gets the same treatment after awhile.
Remember to do your research in the independent’s. Articles like this is a good introduction to them but obviously does not cover on all their views. Some of those other views can be wildly against what you want to see in other areas of our society.
Edit: Yes this feels like a redundant thing to say but just look at what happened in the US and how their non-voters fell asleep at the wheel, although our voting is mandatory we still need to do our due diligence if we want to ensure we don’t elect a basket case.
