    Leave it to the Scottish to give their toddlers Slushies then blame the Slushie when the baby reacts poorly. I guess the corner store was fresh out of Irn Bru.

    Medical staff at Glasgow Children’s Hospital informed Victoria that the chemical component in the slushy responsible for preventing it from freezing had dangerously impacted Angus’ blood sugar levels. The Food Standard Agency (FSA) had previously issued guidance in August 2023, advising against the sale of slush-ice drinks containing glycerol to children under the age of four due to the potential risks.
