Knew this was coming. That river is disgusting.
I thought that diluted untreated sewage was good for you!
And you know she fell ill because of the water how?
I don’t! But I do know that due to the way that the sewer is designed, it often spills into the river during heavy rain. I also know that some people were against the swimming sports taking place there, because of the aforementioned problem.
I’m sorry if I sounded too presumptious. I recently learned of the controversies of the Olympic swimming in Paris and wanted to share my knowledge.
Yeah, the Seine is everything but clean, but keep in mind that regulation in Europe is pretty strict. The talk about Seine instantly reminded me of the olympics in Rio.
In July, the AP reported that its first round of tests showed viruses causing stomach and respiratory illnesses and more rarely heart and brain inflammation at levels up to 1.7 million times what would be considered highly alarming in the U.S. or Europe.
