    Boy the national post sucks.

    Just rattling off numbers (talking points) from the “Canadian Taxpayers Federation” with no context.

    In the usual fashion its just a list of large numbers to make stupid people rage without any thoughtful analysis over what we got for those increases. They might be bullshit or they might be needed but I will never know with this shit reporting.

    it’s pointless to throw a long term number out without considering what contributes to it. Canada’s growth, population growth, economic growth, and other factors cause the public service to grow. In 2006 - 2015, it also had come through some periods of suppressed growth as the conservatives slashed services provided.

      Military employment is only up about 6% since 2015, nowhere close to the 40% of the entire public service.
